Want to know what is hot in regulations for the end of this year and into next year? Then the bi-annual Unified Agenda is for you. The Unified Agenda was created to require federal agencies to transparently disclose twice a year to the public what rules and regulations they are pursuing.

A team of General Service Administration and OMB Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs personnel gather the Agency regulatory reports, check them for completeness, and then publish on www.reginfo.gov.

The Fall 2019 Unified Agenda was published today. The Unified Agenda is intended to be simple and straightforward for the public. Go to the Unified splash page (at 2019 Unified Agenda link) and select the agency which you wish to research.

The good faith estimates the agencies use in the Unified Agenda are not set in stone; they are subject to revision based on agency need and input. They are a “snapshot in time” to guide the public along with the agency down the regulatory path to rulemakings.

So, when trying to decipher what is or is not going on in Washington, don’t forget to check the Unified Agenda and see what the agencies have cooking for the remainder of the year!
